Additional funding opportunities for Erasmus+ cooperation projects with Ukraine
The EU Commission emphasizes that cooperation with Ukraine is especially important today. To support universities cooperating with Ukrainian partner universities, additional funds are open within two programs.
The EU Commission and the EU Parliament have provided additional funding for Cooperation Partnerships with Ukraine in this call. On our website you will find more information about the funding line Cooperation Partnerships and the application process. The application deadline is March 22, 2023, and applicants are German universities.
Another funding opportunity for cooperation with Ukraine offered by the Erasmus+ is Capacity Building Projects in Higher Education. In two-, three- or four-year capacity building projects, European higher education institutions support the reform and modernization of higher education institutions and higher education systems in third countries worldwide. Additional funding is available for 1 project exclusively to strengthen the digital education environment for Ukraine.
The funding line is divided into three project areas. Applications are submitted by German universities to the European Commission via the Funding and Tenders Portal. The deadline for applications is February 16, 2023. The application documents and further information can be found at
