New programme to support academic collaboration

The DAAD is expanding academic cooperation between Germany and Ukraine as part of the new “German-Ukrainian University Network” programme.

The aim of the programme is to establish a German-Ukrainian university network in order to support the reconstruction of the Ukrainian higher education sector, to establish sustainable cooperation between universities in Germany and Ukraine and to enable Ukraine’s integration into the European Higher Education Area.

Funding is provided for the (further) development of joint degree programmes and teaching modules within the framework of German-Ukrainian higher education cooperation, as well as for further training measures for Ukrainian higher education staff in the areas of higher education management and internationalisation.

State and state-recognised German higher education institutions are eligible to apply. Application deadline: 17.02.2025.
