Doctoral scholarships for research about Ukraine!

Germany’s first structured interdisciplinary doctoral programme in Ukrainian Studies invites you to participate!

The KIU Research Fellowship “Resilience, Restoration and Transformation. Ukraine in a World of Turmoil” in Interdisciplinary Ukrainian Studies supports innovative research on topics related to Ukraine. It is open to Master’s graduates from various disciplines such as history, cultural studies, social sciences, economics, law, conflict studies and related fields.

The KIU Competence Network Interdisciplinary Ukrainian Studies Centre is located at the European University Viadrina and cooperates with partner institutions in Berlin. The duration of the programme is 36 months, starting in April 2025. The working language of the programme is English. Applications will be accepted until 9 February 2025.

The scholarships are financed by the DAAD with funds from the Federal Foreign Office (AA).
