Online semester at the HSWT
HSWT is known as one of the leading Universities of Applied Sciences in Life Sciences in Germany with a strong international network.
The study programme will take place from 1 September 2026 to 14 March 2027, and will be taught in English, French, Spanish and/or Ukrainian. In addition, students can also choose from a variety of lectures offered at the Virtual Bavarian University (vhb). The European Credits gained at this programme can be acknowledged by your home university.
Who can apply?
- Undregraduate students in their 2nd or later year studying Agriculture, Food Stuff Management or related fields
- Language proficiency of at least level B1, or a native speaker for Ukrainian language modules.
Appliacation process and deadline
- If your university and HSWT have a cooperation agreement, please ask your department coordinator or International Office coordinator to nominate you for the programme by May 25th at the latest.
- If there is no agreement between the universities in place, you may study as a Freemover. In this case, please send an e-mail to Ludmilla Kamsin (online-semester.lt@hswt.de) by May 25th at the latest. All documents needed for the enrolment have to be sent by 1 June 2026.
Costs of study
HSWT does not charge any tuition fees. A student union fee of 82 Euro has to be paid upon enrolment.
