The DAAD has had an Information Centre in Ukraine since 1998.

The tasks of the Information Centre include in particular:

Information and counselling on higher education in Germany and on study and scholarship opportunities
Organisation and implementation of the application procedure for DAAD scholarships
Alumni work
Cooperation with Ukrainian and German universities, counselling in matters of university cooperation
Cooperation with the German Embassy in Kyiv and German intermediary organisations in the field of education
Co-operation with DAAD lecturers in Ukraine.
