Kooperationsvereinbarungen deutscher Hochschulen mit Hochschulen anderer Länder fördern den akademischen Austausch von Studierenden und Professorinnen und Professoren sowie die Durchführung von gemeinsamen wissenschaftlichen Projekten. Dennoch gibt es gegenwärtig noch großes Potential für den Ausbau neuer Kooperationen in den verschiedensten Wissenschaftsbereichen.
