DAAD scholarship programme "Language, history and culture of the German minorities in CEE/CIS: further education and research stays"

Graduates and researchers from the fields of German studies, cultural studies, social sciences and humanities with a connection to the culture and history of German minorities can now apply for a DAAD scholarship.

The scholarship supports further education and research stays at German universities or non-university research institutions in the fields of German as a foreign language, German as a native language, German as a minority language, German as a teacher, German philology, German studies as well as cultural studies, social sciences and humanities, which are carried out in coordination with an academic supervisor in Germany.

Who can apply?

Very well qualified graduates, doctoral candidates, early career researchers or
Lecturers/(assistant) professors

Duration of funding

1-5 months for very well qualified graduates, doctoral candidates, early career researchers or
1-3 months for lecturers/(assistant) professors

Application deadline

Applications can be submitted at any time and must be received by the DAAD at least three months before the planned stay.
